Raser Technologies announced dynamometer test results at the 2005 SAE World Congress in Detroit the world's largest international automotive engineering trade show, that indicate its Symetron P2 AC induction drive system delivers the highest torque density available today. Participating in the event were many of the leading automobile makers and their suppliers world wide.

The show-stopping "Raser's Edge" racecar was featured in Raser's booth. An video presentation showing recent impressive dynamometer test results and video from the demonstration drive on a section of the Monaco Grand Prix course drew a crowd at Raser's booth. Raser's "Edge" was the only high performance all electric Formula race car at the show, and generated substantial interest when viewers learned it was propelled by a small 147 lb electric motor and controller capable of 500 horse power.

Raser hosts VIPs and the media to a demonstration of its technology in its "Raser's Edge" Formula race car at a Detroit test track facility on Thursday, April 14.
