Frost &
Sullivan Drive System Technology
Innovation of the Year Award
Acceptance Speech
June 21, 2006
Brent M. Cook, CEO Raser
Technologies
On behalf of Raser Technologies,
I’d like to thank Frost &
Sullivan and their industry
analysts for recognizing the
significance of Raser’s
innovation with this award.
Indeed as a research and
development company, our
slogan’s is “we sell
innovation.”
In fact, this company was built
on innovation and a remarkable
discovery just a few years ago,
which lead to the development of
our Symetron technology. I’d
like to thank our science and
development teams for their
untiring efforts. Their unique
skills and inspiration were key
in developing Symetron. We
believe this technology will
have a significant impact in the
world, beginning with the
advancement of hybrid vehicles,
to the more efficient use of
clean renewable electric power
in almost every aspect of our
lives.
I take pride in being here
tonight because we are in good
company… companies who develop
solutions. It is truly
satisfying to be able to meet
some of the biggest challenges
we face to day with intelligent
solutions.
We are all aware of the problems
associated with our continued
dependency on oil. President
Bush recently spoke of looking
to American innovation for a
solution. We at Raser are proud
to be able to offer an advanced,
low cost hybrid drive technology
with enough power to replace the
combustion engine, that can
dramatically reduce the amount
of gas burned in cars, and with
it, reduce the harmful emissions
and green house gases.
In addition to the potential of
a profound impact on
transportation, Symetron
technology may have a profound
effect in almost every aspect of
our lives, by improving electric
motor performance in industry
and by improving the efficiency
of electric power generation.
As I wrote this short speech on
my laptop, I smiled to myself
because my PC said INTEL inside.
Though you may not see the
sticker, many things in your
daily life that use electric
power may soon benefit from
“SYMETRON INSIDE.”
Thank you...and congratulations
to all of you |
