Modular Power Generation

Raser has teamed with UTC Power to rapidly deploy low-cost modular power generation plants.

Raser’s modular strategy using award-winning technology from Raser and UTC Power can effectively harness the nation’s reservoir of untapped low-temperature resources to meet the growing demand for affordable, clean, renewable energy.

Raser Technologies was awarded 2007 Product Innovation of the Year Award within the Industrial and Commercial Motors and Drive Category by Frost & Sullivan.
UTC Power’s geothermal power system was recognized in 2007 by R&D Magazine as one of the 100 most technologically significant products introduced during the past year.

  • Premanufactured for economy in high volume

  • Delivered and deployed rapidly avoiding costly on-site engineering delays

  • Flexible modular design can be connected into larger power generation "farms"

  • The entire plant can be operated remotely, with no personnel on site.

  • Raser plans to use many Symetron motors and generators in each 10-megawatt plant to improve output efficiency and reduce parasitic losses.
