Raser has secured one of the largest portfolios of geothermal resources in the United States. Raser holds approximately 240,000 acres in four states in the USA and has been granted a significant concession in Indonesia.  Raser currently has eight geothermal projects in different stages of development.

  • 3 Utah Projects: In the desert of Southwestern Utah
  • 1 New Mexico Project: Lightning Dock project is located in Southwestern New Mexico and is one of the most studied geothermal resources in the United States
  • 3 Nevada Projects: In the Big Smokey Valley of Southern Nevada
  • 1 Oregon Project: Located in the South-Central Oregon in Klamath Falls area.
  • An Indonesia Project: Over 100,000 acres of geothermal resources to build an estimated 200 to 300 MW of geothermal power in West Java, Indonesia’s most populated island.

Progress Report

  • Raser’s first power plant, Thermo No. 1 or Hatch Plant, is now selling clean, green electricity to Anaheim, California as part of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).  Raser has also signed a PPA to sell power from its project in New Mexico into Phoenix, Arizona.  We have other PPAs under negotiations and in different stages of approval with utilities and municipalities for the purchase of our geothermal power.

These photos show Raser’s 8 geothermal projects currently under development in Oregon, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico.
