Software
Engineer
Currently we are seeking a qualified
Software Engineer for Vehicle
Electric Propulsion Systems. This
position will be responsible for the
design, development and validation
of new advanced motor drive control
algorithms in a real-time embedded
environment.
Responsibilities will include:
-
Design,
implement and validate C based
algorithms for different
software platforms.

Generate
specification, Design and
validation documents for the
software development (V cycle)
-
Develop
advances motor and control
system drives for
hybrid-electrical vehicle.
-
Work with
Motor Design Engineers, Power
Electronics Engineers, Systems
Engineers and Manufacturing
Partners to review new designs
and provide succinct input for
machine, drive and power control
unit design improvements.
All qualified candidates must
meet the following requirements:
-
BS-EE,
Computer science or similar
academic background.
-
Experience in
embedded development,
-
C language
programming with familiarization
of assembly code
-
Field
oriented vector control systems
development experience will be a
plus
-
-
3 – 5 years
of automotive or related
engineeringg
-
Excellent
communication, interpersonal,
and technical skills along with
the drive to function in a
small, focused team environment.
Compensation:
Base salary range: $70 – 85K
commensurate with educational
background and experience; plus
benefits and incentives; relocation
assistance possible.

Job Description: The
Geothermal Project Development
Manager is responsible for
overseeing project development,
which includes the following duties:

Research and identify geothermal
resources and opportunities to
develop geothermal power plants
-
Negotiate with private landowners
and manage the lease process with
government agencies
-
Coordinate geology studies,
permitting, acquiring ROW’s, and
assisting with PPA negotiations.
-
Assist with Transmission,
Engineering & Construction, and
Power Sales to complete geothermal
power plants and get power to
market.
Requirements
-
Willingness to travel 50%+, often to
remote rural locations.
-
Experience in geothermal preferred.
Experience in at least one of the
following areas is helpful: power
industry, permitting, land
acquisition / real estate, project
development, or general business
development
-
Strong people and negotiation skills
-
Excellent team player – this job
requires the ability to lead and
coordinate a cross-functional team
and to manage multiple projects.
